369 students and 35 teachers from Life College listen to Ronnel, one of our Eco Warriors, as he shares the advocacy of Project Eco Kolek and the importance of waste segregation.
He challenged them to take active role in helping our environment by becoming responsible in handling and disposing of wastes, especially plastics, both in their classrooms and in their homes.
Ronnel further explained the dangers of plastics in the ocean as it affects the aquatic ecosystem and marine life. He further illustrated it by sighting real life scenerios through photos and real stories on the effects of improper waste disposal and segregation.
Ronnel, together with his team of Eco-Warriors
will be collecting plastics from Lifecollege as part of its growing networkofpartner insitutions.

Farm Konek's Advisory Board and Management Consultant Mitchell Gimena, was invited as a speaker and panelist during the 14th National ICT (Information, Communications, and Technology) Confederation of the Philippines Summit with the theme "Digital Transformation and Innovation in the New Normal," held at Bohol Tropics Resort, Tagbilaran City, Bohol on November 18, 2022.
The NICT Annual Summit is the largest gathering of ICT Councils, Academe, Local Government Units, National Government Units, and ICT industry players designed for new trends in ICT, innovations, and solutions. in the Philippines.
Mitchell presented the unique value proposition of Farm Konek, including its agile approach to building an agricultural technological solution that will help answer the food crises in the country.
Other speakers also presented breakthroughs in Education, Healthcare, Education, Local Governance, Gender Equality, Agri and Food Security, and Technological Innovations.
The NICP Annual Summit is an opportunity to meet the leading innovations and solutions providers, and exchange best practices among each ICT Council in the country. The Summit also provides an excellent venue to present ideas for countryside development.
