It is so fun to see our Eco-Warriors being joined by their kids during weekly training in the community. Before the start of every meeting, facilitators would give a chance to all trainees to showcase their talents through singing and dancing. Surprisingly, their children join them in front with such energy and gusto! It fills the atmosphere with so much thrill and enables them to participate actively in every session. What a great way to build teamwork and unity!

Palawan is filled with so much riches despite its seemingly isolated location in the Philippine archipelago. As a social enterprise, Project Zacchaeus is always on the lookout for partnerships with communities that are willing to work on their progress and attain sustainability through sustained collaboration.
Soon, a new community in Puerto Princesa City will join us in this quest of building a social enterprise on the west coast for the development of their locale and their member families through locally available resources around them.
Project Zacch team is getting ready for this expansion and is excited for the impact that this collaboration will bring.

Naomi Socrates, the main anchor of the DWIZ morning program's Share Mo Nao, featured Project Zacchaeus' Eco-Kolek on her morning program by conducting live interview on Eco-Warrior's community in Bgy. Jacana.
Lydia, the president of Samahan ng Mamamayan ng Jacana shared her stories as a waste picker and the initiatives implemented by the USAID-funded Eco Kolek.
Socrates was amazed at how this project was able to empower the informal waste pickers of Puerto Princesa by giving them insurances, uniforms, vehicles, and tools so they can execute their jobs better, and safer.
