Nine Eco-Warriors availed the Land Transportation Office (LTO) free Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) that would eventually qualify them for a student driving license upon compliance with various agency requirements.
TDC is a 15-hour course which promotes:
- Safer Roads
- Better Driver Attitude
- More Technical Understanding of Road Signs
- Clearer Driver Intuition
The trainees shall be the main drivers and stewards of the vehicles which will be used to collect plastics all over town upon the full implementation of the ECO KOLEK Project of Project Zacch.
After getting their Student Licenses, another application shall be made to qualify for a Non-Professional Drivers License which will enable them to formally drive the garbage collection vehicles to be provided by the project in partnership with USAID's Clean Cities Blue Ocean.
